SHAPE
The design of the basket and the arrangement of the holes are particularly well-suited for medium to light roasts. A closer spacing of the holes enhances water flow, facilitating the extraction of very finely ground coffee. This method is especially advantageous for extracting light roast coffee, as it maximizes the benefits of a finer grind. The outcome is a richer body, increased crema, and pronounced notes of sweetness and ripe fruit. (IMS - "M" design pattern).
