Use Instructions

1. Remove the pad from its packaging.
2. Soak the pad in clean water before first use. This activates the resin inside the pouch. 
3. Place the pad inside the machine’s water reservoir. The pouch should remain submerged or floating freely in the tank. 
4. Fill the reservoir with fresh water and operate the machine as usual.
5. Allow about 10 hours for the pad to begin full limescale protection.

The pad works by softening water and reducing calcium and mineral content before it enters the espresso machine, helping prevent limescale formation. 

Care & Replacement

• Leave the pad in the water tank continuously while using the machine. It should not be removed between uses. 
• Do not attempt to regenerate or recharge the pad. Once exhausted, it must be replaced. 
• Replace the pad after approximately 100 L of water usage or about every 2 months, depending on water hardness. 
• Always refill the reservoir with fresh drinking water for best performance.
