Place the Verybarista Blind Disk into your 58mm portafilter. Add a cleaning tablet - such as Cafetto Tevo Mini or a measured dose of cleaning powder, then lock the portafilter into the group head and run the machine’s backflush cycle according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

For best results:

Backflush with water after every espresso session.
Perform a detergent backflush every 1–2 weeks for home use, or daily in commercial settings.
After use, rinse the disk thoroughly under warm water to remove detergent residue.
Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.

What is a backflush cleaning blind disk?

A blind disk is used to seal the portafilter during cleaning. It allows detergent and water to circulate through the machine’s group head and valves, removing coffee oils and buildup.

Why choose a silicone blind disk over rubber?

Silicone is denser, more durable, and more resistant to wear than rubber. It creates a stronger seal, lasts longer, and doesn’t crack or deform under heat and pressure.

Does this blind disk fit all espresso machines?
