Support de douchette en acier inoxydable : Fabriqué en acier inoxydable alimentaire ANSI 304, ce support de douchette est doté d'un plus grand nombre de trous que l'original, ce qui améliore la pression et permet l'extraction d'une mouture plus fine. Ses dimensions précises de 58,5 mm garantissent un ajustement parfait aux paniers IMS Precision. Ce support de haute qualité est résistant à l'eau et aux acides, et ne subit ni réactions chimiques, ni décoloration, ni oxydation, garantissant durabilité et facilité de nettoyage (vendu séparément ICI).

Instructions et entretien

Installation

Turn off and unplug your espresso machine. Allow it to cool completely before beginning.
Remove the old components: Unscrew the existing shower screen and holder from the group head. Carefully remove the rubber gasket.
Install the new parts: Place the Cafelat silicone gasket evenly in the group head groove. Position the stainless steel shower holder and IMS shower screen in place.Secure with the included stainless screw. Do not overtighten - just snug enough to hold firmly.
Run a water flush without coffee to ensure everything is fitted correctly.

Regular Care

Purge water through the group head before and after brewing to keep the screen clean.
Wipe the gasket with a clean, damp cloth to prevent coffee buildup.
Backflush with water after your last shot of the day.

Weekly / Monthly Care

Backflush with espresso cleaner: Use a Cafetto espresso cleaning tablet once per week.
Deep clean the shower screen & holder: Soak in warm water with espresso cleaner, rinse thoroughly, and reinstall.
Check gasket condition: Inspect for wear or residue. Silicone lasts longer than rubber, but should still be monitored.

Longevity Tips

Avoid overtightening the screw - it only needs to be snug.
Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals on stainless components.
Replace the silicone gasket when it loses elasticity or begins to leak.
Proper care will ensure consistent flavor, reliable extractions, and extend the lifespan of your Breville or Sage Dual Boiler.

Cafelat silicone gasket: typically lasts 2–3 times longer than rubber, often 1–2 years depending on usage.
IMS shower screen & stainless holder: designed to last many years with proper cleaning and care.
Screw: durable stainless steel, only needs replacement if lost or damaged.

Will this affect my machine warranty?

No. These are considered standard replacement parts. They do not alter the machine’s design and are safe to use without affecting warranty coverage.

Portafilter feels harder to lock in than before?

Cause: The new silicone gasket is slightly thicker and softer than your worn rubber one.

Solution: This is normal and will loosen slightly after a few uses. Avoid forcing - a firm twist is enough.
